bmt: Is there actually a better Android phone (well, any smartphone really) out there? Even though its been out for so long?
Zub: Not sure if anyone'e posted this already. Sorry if duplicate.
Not a great M8 video review, but gives you an idea of the differences. That camera seemed a little slow to open, but the new interface looked interesting. The sound did seem worse to me, but I guess that's just a matter of manually setting the EQ profiles since Beats is gone.
I'm really interested in the dual camera tech from everything that I've read, but asides from that I'm still super happy to stick with my 2013 One.
CyberN3rds: Does anyone have any idea when the HTC One 4.4 update is releasing for NZ phones?
CyberN3rds: Does anyone have any idea when the HTC One 4.4 update is releasing for NZ phones? I haven't got it yet and I thought it was supposed to be released a while ago?
I'll also be quite sad if Beats audio is removed from the HTC One M8. Because, sure it might have not sounded super good but I think it was good to have that option and I think it made certain types of music sound better.

Awesome stuff...thanks! Any chance of Vodafone putting up a pinned discussion topic or similar on the community site listing the status of device updates? I know that many of the big carriers across the ditch and elsewhere do this, and it would go a long way toward end users like those who frequent this board being less "in the dark" about updates.

Sweet! I cannot wait to get kitkat on my HTC One! Although I'm also interested whether HTC will bring the new sense version with the m8 to the HTC One. Because my mother with her s3 found the updates to be really minimal after the s4 released.
