What if it's that new wireless charger? One can hope? :p

Actually some people have already received their phone and nobody has mentioned any goodies unfortunately. Ah well, the phone is exciting enough! :)

ritzlal: Haha. I'll take a gamble and pay you for it now. In return, you send me whatever it is you get (don't bother if it's just extra packaging material) :D

Bahaha, since you said that...i have reconsidered ...decision pending :D

HellraiserNZ: I bought one in the first ten minutes. It will be delivered by Monday 4th in the US. As I posted on the news article, I got the US version as 4G isn't really relevant in NZ at the moment and won't be till the Nexus 6 comes out anyway (right?) DC HSPA+ is fast enough for me anyway! Using an iPhone 4S at the moment and cannot wait for a change. Anyone else in the same boat as me?

what's your weight ? 1.9 lbs ?

Nope. 1.00 lbs

Additional Information Shipped/Billed On:11/01/2013Type:PackageWeight:1.00 lb Shipment Progress

Weird. It seems like the packages coming out of Hodgkins are all 1 lbs.
But the packages which don't go through Hodgkins are 1.9 lbs ...dunno.

Well I'll find out tomorrow if there is something extra with it, just get my fam to open the UPS box and check. Highly doubt it though, especially the first phone I have bought since the Nokia 3310 that do not come packaged with headphones.

But I thought you said above that you have the 1.00 lbs.

Between the 2 weights..that one has less chance of goodies tehehe

Son of a @! Even though mine said it shipped on Friday the online tracking has only been updated in the last few hours saying it arrived at the depot in Louisville, KY. Oh well, might not get it for another 2 weeks now. Have to wait for my nano sim adaptor to arrive from dealextreme first anyway.

Ordered one last night from the Aussie Play store with 4-5 weeks shipping, fingers crossed it will get delivered by the end of the month so my brother can bring it back to NZ with him.

It arrived at my family's house in Chicago! Too bad I don't visit until 27th November. Could pay a bit to get it shipped but want to avoid customs etc.

Just saw on LG NZ facebook page that 2degrees will have the Nexus 5 from mid November:

"Introducing the Google Nexus 5 - It’s a 5” phone, and so much more. Built with precision, Nexus 5 delivers an intelligently simple design and showcases a stunning full HD display. The Google Nexus 5 is made for what matters.

The Nexus 5 with 16GB memory will be available for purchase from 2degrees Mobile stores from mid November. Two colour options will be available – black and white – both retailing at $699. Discover the Nexus 5 here"

They have the Nexus 5 listed on becextech.co.nz. Both 16GB and 32GB models for $679 and $739 respectively. Seems like a reasonable price for NZ, and it says they'll be in stock from 15th November. Anyone else extremely tempted?

Looks like another parallel site, they don't list whether GST is included, which points to it not being. I would stick with a local store.

How long does it take from Youshop receiving the package at the USA warehouse and the item appearing on my youshop account ?

It was signed this morning by some chick named "Ellis" or something.

My status said "Left at dock. Delivered. Signed by Ellis".

I googled what dock means for UPS and it says "UPS Hub"...means it's not actually delivered ? or is it the youshop warehouse loading dock?
