Wow that website has some pretty cool skins!

Have you purchased from them before? If so, do the skins actually look good in person?

Does anyone have a spare unused discount code they would like to give away? Thank you in advance!

I currently have a dbrand skin on the back of my N5. They do look much like the website, but the thing I noticed initially was the harsh cut edge around the outside of the skin. I tried to round it off a bit using the back of a spoon, but with use over time it has become quite smooth and not really noticeable.

They are also removable and replaceable if you're careful.

Yeah I have a bamboo wood skin on my N5 currently.

I actually got the frame piece too but gave up on that as it kinda ruined the effect.

They're 3M vinyl so don't leave residue or tear. They do a very good job of looking realistic, my bamboo one has a very convincing woodgrain and leaving most people asking if it is real wood or not. very good purchase if you are looking to spice up your life a bit tongue-out

I just had an on-line chat with 2Degrees and the guy was very ho hum, even when I suggested that maybe they could give us an update here because we are so excited but still hanging out for the next step.

Awesome, thanks for checking in with them. It is hard having to wait for something that I'm this excited about.

I keep periodically clicking thru to the link I received in the email yesterday - but still no dice. I'm sure someone will post here as soon as they are able to click through and place the actual order. smile

I guess @freitasm knew that he was going to find himself in the midst of a feeding frenzy before this thing was over... surprised

I didn't know anything but I am always ready to fail. I have this thing about being suspicious of things that work without problems. So I keep expectations at a level that won't make me suffer.

I know 2degrees is working to get things ready and I leave the comms with them to avoid crossed wires.

Hi everyone,

Another update because we are not quite there yet...

1. Stock did arrive in our distribution centre earlier today
2. It was processed (there's a few things that happen) and moved into On Line Store status and the stock feed generated
3. Problem is that the On Line Store front end has not yet picked up and published the stock feed which is what will make the product live - I am told that it isn't unknown for things to go awry at this stage.

It is being investigated and tested right now and if it goes live tonight then those of you who got sent the code early should be able to use them immediately. We are holding off sending out the remainder of the codes until we absolutely know it is working, so that might be first thing in the morning.

Again apologies for the delay, we've been working hard on it, and it is very very close!

We have sent details for the Plan sign-up out to those people who selected this option and they have been able to call in and get actioned because that is an off-line process.

Regards,
2degrees

I have one on the back of my Xperia Z3 and I love it. It turned my super-slippery glass backed phone into something that wouldn't slide off every surface it touched. Looks pretty good too.

No dramas. When I order it can I get you to stick a couple of the big old sim cards in the package easily enough for my GPS trackers or is that too hard for logistics to sort out?

Can we have free credit for the mix up?

No harm in asking :D
