NZtechfreak: ^ Yegods Geekzone is annoying on Chrome mobile right now.

What this means?

It means I can't log into desktop GZ on mobile Chrome, and mobile GZ is horrible.

I haven't got the Note 5. No SD slot and no removable battery? Holding on to my Note 4 thanks. If I'm giving those away, then I think I prefer to have this Nexus.

NZtechfreak: So I grabbed a Nexus 6P today. Impressive. First Nexus device that will be a daily driver I think.

Glad to have you on board :)

Ok, coming from you, that means a lot to me.

I have been a Note user - and I am not sure if vanilla android will do for me. I had a play with Note 5 and the software seems a big step from Note 4 and much refined.

I will wait for my nexus 128GB - and see how it goes. I would have gotten Note 5 if 64GB is available from Vodafone...

The Note 5 is a great phone in it's own right, if it had a card slot I'd have settled for no removable battery, but losing both was a step too far for me. I am hoping we see a bit of a return to the card slot in the coming year, with Marshmallow dealing with external memory better, but that remains to be seen.

Anyone using anything like the Sandisk Wireless Connect Stick with theirs? I can mostly live with streaming music from my NAS to circumvent the lack of storage, however I'd like a robust solution for when not near a WiFi network. Note that I need a wifeless solution in this scenario, as the USB port is occupied with a DAC.

Wifeless solution? ;-)

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Brought the Note 5 when it came out. After seeing this I feel like I've thrown 300 bucks down the drain. The 6P looks better than the Note in pretty much every way and far cheaper.

Well the Note 5 will have a slightly better screen, better storage performance, slightly better camera, s-pen, better behaved SoC, works with your existing cables. It's still great phone.

Not to start any fanboy war but how is Note 5 camera slightly better than N6p? Take a look at this quick comparison samples (without reading the text) and tell me how and why Note 5 takes better pictures?

Just found another comparison:

http://www.computerworld.com/article/2996017/android/nexus-5x-6p-vs-galaxy-note-5-camera-comparison.html

Nexus 6p completely destroys the Note 5 camera.

Just tried to edit a screenshot on the 6P

Appears that there is no way built in to do this with pure Android.

Does anyone know of a decent app that can do this? A little shocked at this.

Just found Apowersoft Screenshot which appears to handle editing & sharing.

Not sure what you mean by editing. You can crop, change the light etc in stock Photos app.

Here is an example:
