TheUngeek: Is pretty cool game!

Ok, only 2 things bug me so far with my One X.
No option for differing LED notifications.
No option to change the layout of text message threads. I HATE that iphone style.
Will try go sms again but was hoping to not have to use an app for messaging.

You don't get the random lag, when hitting the home button?

usually when returning from the browser, skype, or games

Takes about 10-15 seconds to get a usable home screen

No nothing like that, that's pretty weird and to be honest if I did get that I'd be going back to the store and saying "Oi, it's bung, you fix now"
I really like sense so no plans to root and rom for quite some time.

Yeah, I'll have to see if Telecom will put out the 1.28 update soon, as two of the other reviewers with another of the dev phones is getting exactly the same lag.  So maybe it's a Telecom branded firmware issue, although they haven't changed much at all, probably just the baseband, and two shortcuts

I have moved across the ditch.  Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.

Well I've had to get a replacement since mine has developed the flickering greys. Should be here in a couple days, the quality control is shocking on this phone.

There was a yellow dot on the screen. I mentioned it earlier in this thread.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Someone had one three times that size in the mid-top of display over at XDA and it went away completely after a few days

Just also noticed pressing along the top of the screen causes screen distortion, think I'll just send both phones back and get an SGS3.

Just got my One X from 2degrees at the end of last week. I rooted it over the weekend (using the Paul OBrien method at modaco) and now I see the 1.28 (I assume) upgrade is available OTA. Anyone know if I will loose root or the upgrade will fail? And if I loose root will I need to unlock at HTCdev again (and therefore wipe my phone again)?

Fitbag pouch just arrived, absolutely perfect dimensions. Top notch materials and stitch quality, would definitely recommend.

now if vodafone only stocked the black ones I'd buy one of these already. i Don't want white.

Willing to resign my contract, and not quite wanting to deal with parallel imported ones yet.

I've been trying to scuff up the back a bit to do a blog post on how easy it is to clean and it's near impossible... good job HTC.

Time for the permanent marker test like the Xperia S?
