Is anyone else having luck with Navigon today? I was just browsing the market, came across Navigon Samsung Australia(on the PC side). Had tried it yesterday and got Not Compatible with all devices/or country. Today it installed.

Downloaded both NZ/AU maps to my SD, seems to work fine! Gives me the option for a 4.2 update, but when i hit it says product doesn't exist in store.

Not rooted, no market enabler, completely stock 2Degrees GSIII

I just tried to install myself but getting not compatible with all devices or country too. No luck like you though.
I have version 3.6.0 on the phone currently but would like latest update. Any way to get it?

Why is it that Australia get their phones come with Navigon preinstalled but we get nothing? I actually sent an email last week to Samsung NZ asking why this is but they have not bothered to reply to me.

My version says 4.0.2

only other way to get it would be to root, then change the market code to Vodafone AU, I think

I'm holding off on rooting/doing too much to my phone at the moment due to be on call, and not having a backup phone. Once I source a secondary phone, then I'll probably root it

I have moved across the ditch. Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.

What modem?

What differences did you notice?

Ninphetamine just makes everything that wee bit snappier - not that it was slow in stock form! I've flashed the BVLE4 modem, as I had good success with the Orange modems on the SGSII.

Will flash Wanamlite over the weekend probably. Does anyone have a link to the 2degrees ROM?

Yeah, It's clearer today but still not 100%. And I agree, the feel of this particular protector isn't smooth. It's more soft, and i think that's where it gets it "grip" from.

I had a previous protector on which I was quite happy with (apart from the fact that the edges weren't sticking properly. Still got like 5 of them left, so will probably put that back on, and sell these ones on TM.

Mine haven't even turned up yet. It might be the extra time to reach the South Island. It's a long long way, apparently.

You can use ADB command. Or you can do a factory reset lol.

Yep, got all that :) According to Chainfire, the Device Status of "Modified" wont go away unless you flash a stock ROM and reset. You'll want rid of the "Modified" if you're going for Warranty.

I've no problem flashing a stock ROM, but I come back to the problem of not having the NZC CSC to apply. It's not in the XXLE8 stock firmware.

You should be able to remove CWM & Superuser before you flash stock via Odin

I'm not a complete idiot, I still have some parts missing.
