lNomNoml: Can anyone tell me how much usable storage is available on the 32GB model?

Not sure if this will give you an idea, on the 64GB there is 53.67GB available

stuzz: Just tried to edit a screenshot on the 6P

Appears that there is no way built in to do this with pure Android.

Does anyone know of a decent app that can do this? A little shocked at this.

Not sure what you mean by editing. You can crop, change the light etc in stock Photos app.

Here is an example:

Did you use the Power & Volume button to take that pic? Or the actual camera?

Using the camera, yes, Photos app can edit.

Using above button to "screenshot" something, it doesn't.

I've used power+volume down. Tapped on the screenshot in the notification area and selected Photos app to open. Than (it might be a bug or at least inconsistency) I agree the edit icon is missing. But if you just hit the back button and tap once more on the newly added screenshot - the screenshot will open again and the edit icon will be there again.

Once I found the screenshot in the "device folders" setting, it has allowed me to edit. I wasn't looking there before. Silly me just thought that they should show up for "today" as they did on Lollipop. Thanks.

So, what are peoples thoughts at this point, was this a worth while phone to buy? What did you have before? What are the key bad points? Considering replacing my Galaxy S6 Edge which I cracked the screen of.

My son and I, both Geekzone members, and a colleague who I was given a code for are all extremely happy with our Nexus 6Ps. We had a Nexus 6, LG G3 and iPhone 4S. Another son is very happy with his hand me down Nexus 6 too.

The only thing my son misses is the number showing unread messages on the icon.

Try SnapSeed, from the 3dot menu in photos you should be choose to edit pic in Snapseed

I believe Google bought snapseed a while ago so assume it will one day become the default editor :P

Cheers.

Found a sort of hidden editor for screenshots, so will run with that, but will also check that out.

NZtechfreak: Well the Note 5 will have a slightly better screen, better storage performance, slightly better camera, s-pen, better behaved SoC, works with your existing cables. It's still great phone.

The 6P has the same screen as the Note5

I'm using mine on 2Deg. I got it from HN & was shrink wrapped with a 2deg logo on it.

I have just put my Spark sim in and it works fine

Nexus 6p = Best phone ever owned...period!

Coming from a Nexus 5 and the Nexus 4 before that, these are in in my opinion the +/-:

+ Larger battery - can EASILY go the whole day now!
+ Finger print scanner - LOVE it!
+ Fast charging - with the included charger from 0 to full in an hour
+ More memory - 64GB vs 16GB
+ Camera - Low light especially, 4K capable and Slo motion is a lot of fun!
+ Front facing Speakers
+ Better Screen, CPU/GPU, more RAM, USB-C etc.

- No Wireless charging - the biggest negative in my book as I've invested heavily into the Qi charging
- Power button next to the volume buttons - nit picky but can be a pain
- NFC reader upper left corner - also nit picky, it would be better back/centre but understand why it is where it is
- Not many options for USB-C fast charging at the moment - will hopefully pickup soon

There's probably other points that I've missed but that should cover most things :)

I bought my 64GB Graphite from NL yesterday and it works perfectly with Vodafone.

Question to all: Where are people purchasing their Spigen cases from? I tried to order it directly from the supplier, then from Amazon as a proxy to the supplier and both failed. They won't ship internationally, which is very frustrating. I need to buy two cases- one for myself and one for my flatmate!

If you actually read the article it says it is not confirmed that it is the Note 5 panel. I'd be surprised if it were, as Samsung have always reserved the best panel for themselves only and farmed old slightly older panels to others. If you switch on the sRGB mode in developer options the screen is awesome, it's definitely from amongst the most recent panels, that much is easily visible. I was already wondering if it was the Note 4 panel.
