I just got another update on my 2degrees S21+ very small update I wonder if this update is the one to enable 5G on the handset
S21 on 2degrees got the update today.
No 5G on 2degrees, Skinny and Spark SIMs still.
2degrees' 5G coverage doesn't extend to my area yet though. Maybe a good excuse for a trip into town this weekend!
Spark/Skinny results surprising as there are 3500 MHz licences for my nearest cells (Lakewood Court, Manukau City, Manukau South East and Orams Road). Perhaps I need to do something to activate 5G? At least 4G is pretty good with 3CA of 20+20+20 = 60 MHz.
5G NSA working on Vodafone NZ. 3CA on LTE (20+15+15) paired with 60 MHz of NR. Worked on 5G right out of the box from Day 1.
First? S20 5G update arrived today, feb patch circa 260mb

5G may not be provisioned on your skinny/spark account. Hit up @gajan.
Other troubleshooting steps you can try is disabling the other SIM.
Contacted Spark Live Chat to ask for 5G to be provisioned. Spark rep responded asking for my address to check 5G coverage -- and apparently Manukau is yet to have 5G. Checked the 5G coverage map myself and turns out the rep is correct. Never thought to check the Spark 5G coverage map -- my bad.
Looks like the 3500 MHz licences are being set up well ahead of time -- therefore the presence of a 3500 MHz licence doesn't really indicate that Spark is operating 5G now.
My S21 Ultra is just 1 yr old after purchase from 2 degrees. Ive noticed a problem ?? since a recent update whereby the main camera cannot zoom between 1.5 and 3 zoom. you cannot focus between that range.,
I took it to Pb tech who are our local agents (Hamilton) and they looked at it and sent it on to the Samsung Service Centre.
They txt me today that there is a delay in parts. Im wondering if they are replacing the whole camera Unit??
Ive researched this and it appears to be a known issue

Samsung S21+ update is out ' One UI 4.1 and this should include 5G access for 2d customers
Edit: includes March security update
Just updated my Ultra. At last the camera Pro mode has access to all lenses.
