darkness: now if vodafone only stocked the black ones I'd buy one of these already. i Don't want white.

Willing to resign my contract, and not quite wanting to deal with parallel imported ones yet.

I was on Vodafone with a Desire I bought from Clove. I got my One X from Telecom and could not be happier. Seriously XT data is soo much faster than Vodafones. It's not just the faster phone either.

I'm loving my one X, I have had none of the reported problems! GTA3 runs great and battery life is great as well (I had the firmware update straight after first boot up) hopefully a few one X owners are coming to "out of band" and we can talk more there

I've never had any problems being with vodafone. so don't really want to switch.

starting to consider my options though.

I have had a One X from Telecom for a few days now. Seems to be going well! (Touch wood!) Any news from Telecom about the ROM updates that are being pushed down overseas (and to some in NZ by the looks??)

Also have a One V, what a great little phone!

Yeah I never had issues. Just after swapping the speed difference was amazing. Almost dialup vs broadband difference

I heard 2degrees are starting to get updates? Either way I'll know I'll end up flashing a stock european RUU at some stage

Also battery went from 100 to dead in 7.5 hours today with very minimal use.... hopefully it was just a random app keeping things running behind the scene

Welllll, after seeing the SGS3 announcement and reactions, I'm happy I went with the One X and don't feel the need to swap to the Samsung at all. The screen is definitely the most important thing to me and I don't like pentile. Will miss the wolfson dac, nice move by samsung putting that back in. Otherwise, One X battery life and 32gb storage are going just fine for me. A very high spec camera could have swayed me, but that didn't happen. And I infinitely prefer the look of the One X to the SGS3.

So now that I am getting one of these... How would you rate the battery and phone use compared with the iPhone4?

Haven't used an iPhone 4 as a daily device (though do I have other iOS devices), but from what I hear, the One X has a somewhat better battery. Which is to say, not amazing, but it certainly gets me through two days with light use, or about four hours of constant screen time watching videos and playing graphics heavy games with the screen at 40-50% brightness (which is very bright). And don't forget that the One X has 50% more pixels to drive than the iPhone 4.

I infinitely prefer Android on the One X to iOS, but that's somewhat personal preference. I couldn't use a phone without widgets, having to open up different apps every time I want to check something is a big pain to me. Plus iPhones are tiny, typing on the One X is sooo much easier and more accurate for me.

Anyway, enjoy, it's a great phone!

The Sense 4 keyboard is pretty nice, I could say I prefer it to swiftkey

Anyone that has a One X experiencing buyer's regret right about now?

I was after buying my initial phone with the amount of issues it had but now that I've got my replacement and seen the SGS3 I'm happy with it. Granted my replacement doesn't develop faults too.

No way! I still can't believe how crap the Desire now feels after using the One X!
Those comparing the iphone 4 to the One X are a bit weird.... It really is in a completely different class.
Kinda like comparing your 3 year old 32" plasma to a new 50" LED.
