Does Navigon have the same annoying voice as Google's Navigation?

It's a bit weird, I'll be driving along using Google's Navigation and getting the robot voice and then I'll get a posh sounding English female voice for something, then it will revert back to the robot voice. Has anyone else noticed that?

I'm using Sygic. It was around 20 Euro and I'm loving it. Has multiple nice voices and offline.

Silly little Nofam:

- Attempts to restore bookmarks from SGSII stock browser to SGSIII browser with TB (yeah, I know)
- Stock browser packs a sad and FC's frequently
- Nofam freezes stock browser and installs Chrome beta
- Nofam remembers you can install system apps via ADB
- Nofam does this and stock browser still isn't appearing in app drawer
- Nofam hacks a CWM script to install via CWM - still not appearing
- Nofam swears a bit, and then realizes he still has it frozen in TB
- Nofam unfreezes stock browser, and all is well.

My third Galaxy device, and I'm still making rookie mistakes. . . .Embarassed

Can anyone recommend some awesome looking apps that I can use to show off my S3 to make my iPhone owning friends jealous? Maybe some nice looking games?

I've got Raging Thunder (car race game) and Frontline Commando (third party shooter). Anything else, preferably free?

NOVA 3 dude, and then use a PS3 controller to control it and see what they think :)

N64/PSX emulators with high res texture packs might be nice too if they're gamers, since they aren't really available to them.

Ah, I've still got all my old PS1 games, so I think I'll give that a go.

Thanks!

Hi guys
just wondering if anyone noticed their screen becoming quite hot? last night ,when i took it out of my pocket the screen was hot! i was not using phone at all , it was simply sitting in my pocket for atleast few hours!

I thought it was battery but thats not the case as i opened back cover to check that. i resstarted the phone and all back to normal in normal.

is it something to be investigated ?

I haven't got as many as you, but I've got a PSX, Panasonic JR-100, Wii, Atari Lynx and a GP32X (which is awesome for running emulators of older machines such as Sinclair Spectrum, Atari ST, Commodore 64, Gameboy, MAME, etc).

I'm still using Touchwiz, thought I'd give it a go before deciding if I should install a custom ROM.

Is it possible to edit the name that appear beneath icons on the home screens? Some of the names don't quite fit and I end up with one letter overflowing to the next line which looks silly.

Try a different launcher. No need to flash a different ROM. Some launchers allow you to rename apps. Check out Apex. Longpress on an icon and select edit. Then change the name.

Folks, I'm using the standard ROM. Is there any way to change the email app to show UNREAD counts (in both icon and folder listings) instead of total email count?
