Haha shall I also say I've tested the s2 on at least 5 networks in 2 different countries! And that in Dunedin 2degreesmobile ftw!!!

very fast very good building penetration around entire cbd

probably true for most suburbs but you better check. i depend on fixed line broadband at home so didnt care less.

can't comment on outside cbd/rural-ish spots

If I am changing my SD Card, do I just Windows Explorer copy the content from one to the other or do I need to do something else?

has anyone tried HydrOxyG3NMOD? this ROM combined with siyahkernel = superb 2.3.7 ROM ever!

i wont be flashing ICS rom until it becomes the mainstream.

It is interesting reading people's strong opinions toward ICS...

XXLH3 is stable enough for a daily driver, I get the odd app hang but it sorts itself out. The folders (on trebuchet not TW) work brilliantly, the ICS task switcher is fantastic, the data usage/control is a nice touch, the new gmail and maps apps are so much superior to anything before it

There will be some functionality that people use that may not be present which yes would be a deal breaker however the phone appears 100% usable in normal daily use

That's awesome and considering its still a little while before official launch!!!!
Another city down and the 2 degrees machine keeps rolling !!!
This will only mean more savings for everyone :-)

I use an official HP Touchpad bluetooth keyboard without difficulty which you maybe able to pickup cheap.
These have been discounted recently due to the demise of the device. I paid around $36+ GST at trade. You don't need any special drivers or cable. You just pair them, and away you go.

i doubt it will be released that soon. i think the earliest could be somewhere in july for new zealand

After running the stock XXLPH rom for the last week, I installed Wanamlite V8.7 XXLPH rom this morning and have to say it is a fairly awesome compromise, it is basically stock Samsung rom with or without Samsung 'bloatware'(optional install) but with basic AOSP blue theming and the choice of TW/Nova/Trebuchet launchers.

It is non-wipe and i had quite a few issues when i first installed it, lockscreen freezing, email app FC'ing, black screens etc but after a couple of reboots it started behaving itself and has worked impeccably ever since not missing a single beat. Battery life seems to be as good if not better than any GB rom i tried.

Would be interested in others opinions, i have tried a few of the ICS roms over the last month and this one seems to be the best compromise if you like Samsung functionality but the ICS look and feel

Have you tried the Mui offering

its good and pretty stable but Ive been using the XWLA4 CheckromV6 which is 2.3.6 (yes I know its GB but man is it good.So smooth and stable..best rom yet and has pulled me back to GB.
Ive flashed approxiamately 25 Roms in the last 3 months ,my poor phone is probably having an identity crisis lol.but I have to say for all the look an feel of ICS .The performance of this GB rom is exceptionable.
N.B and no there is no O/C in the kernal just pure speed from a well constructed AOSP base

On a side note I am very impressed with the AOSP offering from Kang for the p7500 very nice and smooth.
Looks as though ICS is tailored more to the slates..IMO anyway
