Great choice! The stylus is excellent

In fact, I hope the GS3 has a more sensitive stylus enabled touch like the note, but it probably won't :(

I do no that once the G3 drops I will probably look at it in regret that I didn't wait lol

But from what I read online the difference between dual and quad core = minimal unless you're playing some high end games, which I just don't do on a mobile device.

vinnieg: It has quite small support on XDA, in fact it has 24500 threads less than the Galaxy S II

But if you want it, get it. As long as you are happy using it with Telecom XT only, and waiting for a while to get updates etc

According to this, it will work on Vodafone 3G?

Yeah there are two versions, that's the non AT&T one

Which means you have to use non AT&T ROMs/Modems

That'll work well on 2Degrees/Voda, but not well at all on XT

And the other one from before, will work well on XT, but not well on 2Degrees/Voda

For $809, it might be better off looking into a One X for a few $$ more?

I've been testing it over the last week, and it is a really good phone so far. Also has quad band 3G, so will work on all networks here, without any problems at all

The Note is quad band also

Yeah I've bitten the bullet and gone for the Note.

Expansys seems the cheapest at $700NZD, unless anyone can suggest somewhere cheaper?

vinnieg: The i727 will be fine on XT 3G

old3eyes: If the Skyrocket is designed for AT&T then it will work here on XT and SKinny..  AT&T = 3G Network    HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100..

I don't think my morning coffee had quite kicked in. I must have been looking at the LTE frequencies and not the UMTS frequencies. Doh!

vinnieg: In fact, I hope the GS3 has a more sensitive stylus enabled touch like the note, but it probably won't :(

From what I've read, only the Note range of devices will come with a stylus. The Galaxy range are designed primarily for touch input.

Kopkiwi: Any suggestions on somewhere else?

According to PriceSpy, the lowest price you'll be paying is just under $800 (including shipping). It might be worth looking at Fair Buy for the phone, as there are a lot of people leaving good reviews about them, and they're only $4 more than the cheapest seller.

I think MobileStation.co.nz has the best deal.. I was gonna buy from them until TechBrands stole my money!!

A +1 for mobilestation.co.nz is that it has a physical store in Auckland City if you want to go and try it out first.

Good choice - Galaxy Note! Make sure you tell us about it when you get it!! :P
