Interesting, Stuff http://www.stuff.co.nz/technology/ are running a poll on what is cooler, Tab or iPad, and surprisingly the Tab has a 13% lead.

I suspect if you threw the asus tablet in there, it would be much different.

Updated my galaxy tab 7.7 wifi to ice cream sandwich via Kies - took about 20 minutes and oh joy, fully working, no lost data or settings and running sweet as for 3 days now.

Hi all, Samsung has released the Official ICS 4.0.4 update for the SGT 10.1 GT-P7510 in the UK. I have a unrooted SGT and last night downloaded the official UK firmware from www.sammobile.com and used ODIN to update. Everything work and I have had no issues so far. Existings apps & settings were retained. NZ regional settings are also available.

MODEL NUMBER: GT-P7510 (WiFi)
ANDROID VERSION: 4.0.4
KERNEL VERSION: 3.1.10 se.infra@SEP-91 #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Jul 17 00:19:11 KST 2012
BUILD NUMBER: IMM76D.XXLPH

I flashed the rom with Odin but had to wipe the tab afterwards as it wouldn't boot. Now however, i'm much happier with my tab.
