Nope - still didn't work. Used 26/05 update. Will try 01/06, but otherwise will have to go back to stock 2.3 and go with stock 4.0 update (if it ever comes).

Which still wont solve my Navigator problem (plus there's a few other things I don't like, including the whole Navigator-by-default-when-docking thing, which is a pain in the posterior.)

But hey ho. Looks like I was spoiled by how well CyanogenMod worked with my Milestone!

They'll never release ICS for the Sensation given that it's a year old now, they'd rather people buy an HTC One instead. They said "Early 2012" but we're at the half-way mark and still nothing, so I imagine they'll just hope that people go away.

Maybe try booting CM9 with the SIM and MicroSD removed and see if it boots fully?

That's a shame, even HTC managed a half decent ICS build. My sensation ran very well with it, for a skinned phone.

Maybe try a rom like Android Revolution HD? for your sensation.

+1

That's what I have and it retains all the HTC Sense UI and apps. Works fine.
