I have the Asus TF300 and the keyboard has other uses other than typing.. It protects the screen when throwing it in a bag, stands the screen up when you want to watch video, and the extra battery life

I owned the original Transformer and the Transformer Prime, loved the keyboard docks.

(Still think buying a tablet virtually on the eve of a new Nexus tablet announcement is utterly daft though, wouldn't presently recommend buying any tablet no matter how good my experience with it)

Well, the Nexus 10 is out, but not available in NZ as yet. US$400 for the 16GB version.

ETA: More specs

I like the high resolution screen on Nexus 10.  Looks great unit but again no micro sd slot.  Anyway I already decided and have ordered a Windows 8 tablet.

HTPC Intel Pentium G3258 cpu, Gigabyte H97n-wifi motherboard, , 8GB DDR3 ram, onboard  graphics. Hauppuage HVR 5500 tuner,  Silverstone LC16M case, Windows 10 pro 64 bit using Nextpvr and Kodi

Nope, I hope to track it down while I'm in Hong Kong....  that is unless I manage to track down the elusive Ramos W30HD instead.

Yeah, that Ramos sure looks good. Approx $NZ300 plus postage. Edit - may be wrong on their website? Seems as if the final price is not known yet.

Their website says end of November for release.
