A friend has a note2 and loves it, but she has a handbag to carry it around in. It will fit into a large pocket, but I find even the S3/S4 doesn't fit into the smaller pocket on my designer jeans (purchased for comfort) - though it fits into Levis and similar.

Guys that have them, is the size too big??

I have one and love it, one of my fav phones (have s1/s2/s3/note2/HTConeX/htcOne)
I have no trouble fitting it in my jeans

I've been using a Note2 since pretty much the day they became available. Brilliant little device, very pleased with it. Once rooted and the Perseus kernel is added the display looks fantastic (takes a couple of days to get used to the "correct" colours).

Disclaimer: I don't wear hipster jeans and have fairly large hands.

Congratulations on your new purchase. I brought a Galaxy Note II (N7105) at the end of April. Absolutely love it!

If you're thinking of a few accessories, have a look on ebay as they have loads of stuff. Three things I've purchased are:

  • Desktop charger/cradle. Features mhl output so all you need is an HDMI cable to connect to your tv. Also has a cavity behind where the phone sits for charging a spare battery.

  • Faux leather case. Holds phone in tough plastic surround. Also doubles as a landscape stand. Plenty of these around.

  • Windscreen mount. I highly recommend this mount!!

Have fun...

That's one sweet deal. Sucks for me since I'm selling my Note to upgrade soon.

The cool thing about the non-LTE Note II is the huge amount of development on xda (if you're into that sort of thing). Not much at all for the N7105.

Yes, it certainly appears to be the non LTE device.  As Telecom hasn't launched 4G I can't see them selling a 4G device for anything but the most recent model.

Also, I just looked at the Harvey Norman site and they are listed at $577.  Not sure if that is the same price as earlier but it is pretty sharp and I thought $599 was sharp.
