Wow, that is cheap! I guess maybe the Note 3 is about to arrive. The note 2 was announced last August, so that would make sense.

the long winded product code contains the digits 7100 and AFAIK only vodafone sells the LTE version so i'm thinking this is the 7100 non LTE

LTE is a standard for wireless data communications technology and an evolution of the GSM/UMTS standards. The goal of LTE was to increase the capacity and speed of wireless data networks using new DSP (digital signal processing) techniques and modulations that were developed around the turn of the millennium.


Pretty much it another mobile data method, like edge and 3g and hsdpa, but a lot faster with lower latency.
Think 3g is like adsl, can max out at like 10mbps, where as lte is like VDSL2 and maxes out nearer 70mbps (theoretically)

LMAO by the time downtown Wanagnui gets the ability to take advantage of 4g we will all be riding hover boards. Or we would have been wiped out with earthquakes!. The disadvantage is that it will reduce resale value
