timmmay: You can always get a battery pack case that can double or triple runtime, making it quite a lot larger of course.

Or buy an extended battery that makes it thicker & heavier but no longer.

I get 6hrs screen time easy with a Mugen 5500mAh extended battery with data, BT, auto brightness, wifi, gps, push notifications, etc. all on always. I turn nothing off ever. I also listen to podcasts through earbuds or bluetooth for at least 7 hours a day

I have no idea of my screentime as I have 2 batteries so its not really an issue.

After buying my first smartphone I found out that it wasn't as good on battery as my Nokia 3120 so just accepted it and did what I needed to . My eyesight isn't the best so need the brightness up high so conserving doesn't work for me.

I could go the big battery, maybe next time

blakamin: Without the OP showing us the actual screen time, this thread is pretty much pointless I'm afraid. Bars at the bottom mean sweet FA, as does the percentage.
What "use" is the screen getting? gaming? browsing? watching videos/youtube?

That was just mostly texting/facebook messenger and browsing

I never really get much more than 2 and a bit hours screen on

Could other people post their battery usage screenshots? Including when you click on screen

And when you click on the graph to see more detailed info

You can use the "greenify" app to shut facebook or any other app down that's running in the background that you don't want to keep running. I haven't done facebook, as it makes it take longer to start and I use it regularly. I have done AirDroid, Feedly, a few games, email (I check manually), TVNZ on demand, and a few other apps. It tells you which ones you should do.

Google Now takes a load of battery, massive amounts sometimes. I got rid of it.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

I have 3 batteries, the spare charger, and the mugen... I got sick of changing them. I've not taken the mugen out since it was released .

3 hours. If I turn off auto brightness, it'll get 7. But I use my phone and like it with all the bells and whistles on.

makes sense especially as I use a GPS app for cycling and the battery battery is done to 30%  after 5 hours and thats with screen mainly off.

So 3 hours screen on and still at 50%? Impressive

I charged my battery a few hours ago, it's gone down 3%. Of that 90% was google services, 4% screen, device idle 3%, voice calls 2%. I can post tomorrow after a full days use.
