Thanks for the update, the Shield has been (and still is) very much on my radar.

I should point out that although this is on my radar still, the main thing stopping me is the Moga Power Pro which is shipping to me. If you have a high-end Android (S800 equipped), this is a more cost effective option while still offering a lot of the same benefits as the Shield (PC game streaming aside of course).

So I guess that you've received yours I can hijack this thread ;)

So I was fortunate enough to order a shield in the black friday sales... I tried multiple different websites including newegg, all rejecting my cc and my paypal due to all the international regulations etc but if you are looking at ordering, go straight through nvidia! They are very new to the online store with the shield being their first product so they don't have the big walls like newegg and amazon do. So for 249.99 I got the shield plus a free case but unfortunately missed out on the deal with newegg that also gave a free t-shirt and a free 2 month sub to hulu. But I can't complain considering I got $90 off the overall pricing of the shield and the case.

So my package is in transit with fedex atm on its way to the youshop warehouse in portland and its eta is friday in the US so hopefully it will be here before xmas. The fedex shipment details show that the package is 9x8x8 inches and 4 lbs which I estimate to cost 35 isn nzd through the online calculator. Hopefully that will come down when they actually recieve it.

For anyone who has done it, what is the deal with the customs and duty tax? Did you get stung with anything? Or should it be fairly plain sailing? Thanks for the previous report A5X :) It definitely reassured me with this purchase and hopefully we can get a few more people importing this little beast :)
