Now I know why the Samsung folk liked the metal bumper on my Note 3 so much!

this is the latest article on the web: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tech/feature/a590312/samsung-galaxy-note-4-what-we-want-from-the-big-old-smartphone.html#~oN30XWrjcWkr6E
speculation on the curved screen is still on, im for it, something a bit different. would like a quality metal case, but presume that would have problems for NFC etc.

as long as it runs fast & performs il be pretty happy - eager to get this new beast! :)

1 feature I like thats on the Note 3 is the flat bezel edge, ive found my note 2 slipping out of my fingers more times than I can count! So am glad this changed...

But I really like my Note 2s shaped Stylus, it just sits nice & sleek, tucked out of the way &is shaped with the phone. Note 3 has a flat shape that sticks out... can only presume the Note 4 will follow suit.

am hoping for BIG battery life too! fingers crossed!

Kopkiwi: I have a note 3 and absolutely love it. Will be getting the Note4 on release.

Hope they give us a camera with OIS on it. Hate the pictures the Note 3 takes because there is always a slight blur.

I think the camera is excellent. Not long back from a Months trip to Europe where I used the camera a lot. I had no issues with Blurry Pictures. Perhaps your hold or technique could be looked at!! Hi

Only thing that would make me move over and off the note 3 would be waterproof. And hopefully a better screen (quality not resolution) - otherwise I barely use any of the capabilities of the note 3 as it is.

I'm thinking I will pass on the Note 4 at this stage also, and I do use the Note 3 to its potential. QHD hurts my use-case scenarios for zero gain. The benchmarks (if real) on the Exynos version look nice, being close to the K1, however the CPU speeds will kill emulation for me (as will the non-existent driver support and documentation compared to K1), so the benchmarks are highly unlikely to translate into real world performance that stands up to K1 credibly so I will probably just stick with my Note 3/Shield Tablet combo. Heck, at this rate I'm heading toward BT headset, Moto 360 to combo with the LTE Shield Tablet using the tablet as my phone.

pretty sure it will be water proof etc, ive read that on a few articles this week.

as for the benchmark tests, the exynos looks to be the winner over snapdragon, i leave my phones stock. not mucked around with roming etc, maybe I should give it a go? lol

not sure if il grab the Note 4 as soon as it comes out, more inclined to see reviews of the 2 versions to make my choice...

newer article, mostly a rehash of previous info, but check the concept renders that have been surfacing!

One of the attractions to Samsung's devices in times past was the then-excellent Exynos SoC range - while big.LITTLE hotplugging and cortex A15 power consumption were clearly stumbling blocks for the last several years (Just ask NZtechfreak about how great the Exynos Galaxy S4 wasn't), the 5433's rumoured 64-bit architecture has me champing at the bit in terms of future-proofing. While its rumoured launch build, 4.4.4, would not benefit from this, Android L should bring 64-bit support, which certainly piques my interest.

If the locally-ranged variant has both the Exynos chipset and band 28 LTE, I think I'll be safely on board. Still waiting to see how that 5.5" iPhone turns out.

You may wish to have a word with the team (in-store if it's a store voucher, online if it's an online shop voucher) to have it reissued with a later expiration date. Preorders generally open a week before a device hits retail, and this one hasn't even been announced yet. :)
