Would rather a Gear S2, or VR headset.

It would appear the announcement of the Gear S3 is incoming, so you might find the S2 bundled downstream. Since it only comes in 64GB (expandable) that would explain the price hike.

Wow! Don't think I'll be a starter at that price.

Fair enough. I'm a big fan of Note series. I have owned 1,2,3 and currently Note 4 and 5. I don't really like the Edge look. Note 7 seems to tick all the boxes especially the external storage. It also makes more sense for branding purposes.

Not a big fan - but you have bought all of them surprised smile. Maybe a bit of a fan?

I am a fan - as per your quote.

It looks like a nice phone - will wait for the Labour Day weekend sale (usually 20% off). I am not in a rush to buy one for the sake of early adopter glory.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

I'd love to know the reason behind the massive price difference between the release of the Note 7 and the Note 1. Given the majority of the hardward in the Note 7 is taken from the S7E you'd think component pricing had dropped a little, where as the Note 1 was top of the line at release if I remember correctly.

My humble apologies - for some silly reason I misread it as "... not a fan ...". Stoopid. embarassed

If the last couple of holiday weekend sales have been anything to go by, the Note 7 will be specifically excluded.

If note 5 pricing is to go by this'll be 300 dollars off in no time.

Is that what happened with the Note 5? Interesting because I would like a 7 but refuse to pay that ridiculous opening price. Would be keen at $300 lower.
