I've had a lot of calls from UK numbers in the last few weeks. Its really annoying as I do have clients in the UK so can't just ignore the calls. It takes ages for anyone to answer, then its always a bright cheery Indian sounding girl who wants to offer me a chance to make money from home or some such.

I am not remotely interested in this and its a total time waster. I've tried to block the numbers but they are all slightly different. I dont know what I can say to them that stops them calling me as I'm plainly not interested. I've asked them to take me off their database, but the calls still come. Whats the best way of handling and reporting this, Commerce Commission?

As per the OP. If you have an android phone, NoPhoneSpam looks to do a good job of rejecting number ranges. I'm blocking anything beginning +44220

I'm using NoPhoneSpam and its pretty flakey. Works for a few days then I have to delete the number and re-enter.

Thats the range Im getting calls from......  think I'll answer next one and if its just a sales pitch, will give them something nice to listen to. If its a "technical" call, I'll get them to ring back when Im in front of my PC with a VM at the ready. (Recording obviously)

I got 2 calls yesterday from a number starting with +4422 (diff numbers) yesterday, I did answer but all I heard was silence. I need a 3rd one before I can lodge a nuisance call with Spark.
