Couldn't tell you what is worse. One day or Mobile Station...

At least new with Mobile Station what you buy is new and not a refurb with no charger, coming in a tray with scratches and damage and a buggered battery...

If I had to choose between those two, I'd pick 1-Day over Mobile Station any day of the week.

First off, today's post provides an example of Mobile Station doing the very thing you're claiming 1-Day does - providing a clearly used phone as if it were new stock - so both appear to be guilty of that.

And then there's the fact that 1-Day is owned by The Warehouse, and as a New Zealand company it should, in theory, be easier to get them to sort their @#$# out if/when things go dodgy.

That said, I've chosen not to buy expensive and/or complex items from 1-Day, partly due to the problems that other buyers have reported. I have bought a decent amount of other stuff from them and they've been ok sorting out any issue.

I brought off the cheapest shop on price spy a couple of phones ago (not Mobile Station, now closed).  They drop shop everything from China leaving you personally responsible for the GST.  Lucky for me they also routinely lie on the customs declaration to avoid the GST.  Dodgy as and not worth it to save $50.  Expert Infotech is a real shop that I trust on pricespy.  I don't buy from any of the lesser known shops.  In my opinion www.pricespy.co.nz shouldn't list anything that doesn't have an actual real physical presence in NZ.

Yeah I bought a phone from Supero and they lied on the shipping slip saying it was worth much less than it really was... I'm considering dobbing them in to IRD
