With no B28 support or NFC on the Redmi Note 5 I'd be interested to know what $1400 phone he's referring to.

Shame - I loved my Redmi 3 but the lack of those two features on all but a few of their phones meant I jumped ship.

I ordered in one of their 360 cameras awhile back, amazing product.

Price was so much better than the other options and it just... works...

Did you read the post or just the subject? Second paragraph could not be clearer.

I read the post.. can you point out where it states those items will included and available on launch? Every flag ship consumer electronic store in NZ is always 1/10th the experience you'd expect anywhere else in the world.

I agree the wording is not clear. I have talked to their PR agency and they will have those items here in store. About 80% of the total range will be represented.

I'm guessing they will have the Xiaomi M365 scooters

Just ordered one from Containerdoor due to arrive in December - after the shop opens - but will be interesting to see what they will be priced at.

Excellent news. Have several of their products (phones, mi box, chargers, cables etc) - great performers - very good quality - excellent value.

Will def check the store out esp re stuff that doesn't currently ship here eg. scooters, tvs etc.

Great news! I would say I'm a Mi Fan and have quite a few of their products. I only bought the induction rice cooker and bathroom scales the last month aswell. Oh well...

I'm interested in getting the Xiaomi QiCYCLE EF-1 and Mi Mix 3.

My daily driver is a Mi Mix 2S and it's a very nice phone. Had the Mi 5s before that. Xiaomi make solid phones at good prices.

Looking forward to the on-screen finger print reader in Mi Mix 3!

Rocking mi mix 2 my self and absolutely excellent value for the price, flagship performance at 60% the price.

Would also be very interested in their "Roomba"s pricings.

These two reasons are why I've avoided picking up a Xiaomi phone recently. I see them opening a store a great opportunity to feed back to them that they need to support these features. That said; the lack of NFC has really got me thinking about whether I really need it. I do, on occasion, use my phone to pay for things. I could manage without that I think.

I assume judging by the WHOIS on the mi-store.co.nz domain, it's going to be all PB, just a PB that only sells Mi Products...

Where did you see that? The Redmi 6 has band 28, but I can't find a Redmi Note 6 version with it (Pro or otherwise). I do know that the Taiwan/Mexican variant of the Redmi Note 5 had b28 while the Global didn't, but it wasn't easy to get, so you might be seeing a similar Note 6 version I haven't found.
