I see that PT Tech has the Motorola G7 series listed .  About $70 to 100 more than the Ozzy prices.  The The Moto One Vision looks interesting.

They were there when I posted it. Looks like the link doesn't work but a manual search does.

This link should work.

Motorola are all back on track for NZ and the new range is set to launch ~end of this month.

The One Vision is really interesting - 21:9 ultra-tall display ala Sony Xperia 1/10, punch-hole ala Samsung, Samsung Exynos processor(!), 48MP camera, 128GB storage, and it's officially running Android One yet retains all the key Moto experiences like Actions, Display, and their excellent gesture implementation.

My PC is not running at the moment but I just went to the PB Tech site and did a search for Motorola G7 And it listed 4 devices. Just checked it on my tablet and the search engine worked OK.

The One Vision is vanilla Android with updates at regular times like the Nokias.

Yeah they're pretty close in price eh, were very nearly the same price! It's a trade-off:

G7 Plus has:

  • 27 Watt TurboCharge
  • Dolby dual speakers
  • A larger, wider display with teardrop notch

One Vision has:

  • 48MP camera
  • 128GB storage
  • Taller, thinner display with punch-hole

Side by side I reckon they're different enough that I'm glad they're both available in NZ, curious to see what folks think when they're available to demo.

@NikT Does the Moto One Vision sold by PB Tech support LTE band 28? Your website lists specs for two different global models.

100% yes to Band 28.

Apologies for any inconsistencies in the web content, these will be corrected. This is due to the device not having launched outside of Brazil yet, complete English specs in the correct format for the ANZ variant were not available at the time the SKU was livened.

The model is XT1970-1 and supports LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 28, 66.

@NikT Any plans to stock the Google Pixel 3a? I'd choose that over the Moto One Vision.

Hi Guys, Moto G7 is way cheaper in Dick Smith than PBTech. Actually you can get Moto G7 Plus from the Dick Smith, for the same price you pay for G7 at PBTech. Even with the delivery different is just $10.

What are the actual difference between buying from Dicksmith and PBTech?
