Right okay.

So at least for now, no need to upgrade to the S20 Exynos then? I keep hearing S20 Exynos is as not the best and the S21 have shortened the gap between Snapdragon and Exynos for the same series phones.

Phones are now getting too big to easily fit in the pocket of some of my pants.

Ironically, many pants are far smaller than they were 10 years ago (think super skinny jeans)

brownie112: Then learned that my Whatsapp chat history cannot be transferred to Apple, got lots of overseas friends on there and cannot afford to lose the chat history.

There are some (paid) 3rd party tools that work for moving WhatsApp messages from android to iOS (or vice versa). We did it when my wife moved back to iOS with the iPhone 12.

Google Pixel 4a is about as close as I think you can easily get. It's a great phone, if I lost / broke it I'd buy another. Smaller phones have a smaller battery, but I get through a day no problem. Performance is good, I rarely wait for it, not flagship level but good enough. The Pixel 5a might be a bit faster, I guess available late 2021.

For me I think the s10 was 'peak' Samsung and things have gone downhill since

Agree. My S10e was a great phone. The new S21 looks and feels cheaper in comparison IMHO

I love when people are wrong.... In NZ they are 256GB as a standard with 512GB available for pre order for the ultra only.

Have a look at some NZ sites then come back to me :)

THIS THREAD SPEAKS TO ME!!!
I personally hate the larger screens, it's absolutely ridiculous that 6" seems to be smallest size available today (I'm referring to Samsungs here, not any other brand).

I loved my Samsung Galaxy A3 2017, with its 4.7" screen. Fitted into my pocket perfectly and didn't weigh too much. Had an FM radio and fingerprint scanner, too.

Moved to an XCover 4S - 5" screen but it seems like a step backwards.

Can't find anything smaller than 6.3" for what I want to do now. Keeping my eyes for something that ticks all the boxes, but I'm not optimistic. Not interested in Apple either.

What part of samsung.com/nz isn't an NZ site?

No I don't think I will, I'm not obliged to do anything for you, especially with the tone you are taking.

I actually looked at a Samsung Galaxy S10E but the lack of an FM radio put me off.
