Overheating is a bit of a misnomer; the Exynos models have quite restrictive thermal throttling because it can't keep up under sustained load, which is going to be typically gaming. Even the Snapdragon one's will thermal throttle eventually under load, they just have better thermal management so they can sustain performance for longer. It is highly unlikely you will encounter this under light usage.

In saying that, it would be a bit silly to go past the S20FE for the price, especially since they downgraded the non-ultra S21 models this year. The S21 will still have a slightly better screen and non-main cameras, but whether that is worth a couple hunge extra for you is your call.

I see if you shop via the market, you can get a further 10% off. Makes the S20 FE Snapdragon a no brainer really!

I've been watching this thread and just done the same - 1 for me, and 1 for my wife. Different colours so we can tell them apart :)

I have to ask - all good, you happy? Is your usage like mine?

my last phone is a 3 year old mi mix 2s, which had a decent camera for the time, so it's not a fair comparison. Photos are better than that :)

I have finally fully switched to my S20FE and sent my S10 in for repair.

The screen is awesome, everything just looks better than real life.

Battery life is excellent, where my S10 had 10% left after a day sometimes i havnt seen the s20fe at under 50% under the same usage.

Its good, very good and a decent upgrade from the s10 that will go to my employee once fixed.

Prices seemed to have increased quite a bit. My son wants a new phone for his birthday...not a bad idea as he'll need it when he heads to uni in the new year. When I was looking at the FE it was $799 at PBTech...now $1099.

What's the best deal anyone has spotted? I would prefer not go down the parallel imported route.

Thanks
