Keen to see what wireless chargers are released given Samsung have killed off third party chargers fast charging. Hoping to buy the 45w that we expect to release to fast wireless charge my S21

Can you please provide some information about this? First time I am hearing of it?

I assume it would only affect 22 series devices and beyond.

Wireless charging: https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/accessories/third-party-wireless-charger-not-fast-charging/td-p/2432115/page/2

I have a momax Q.Pad5 which fast charges (15w) my S10, but when trying to fast charge (15w) my S21 (yes I know this is the S22 thread, but those upgrading will have same issue.)

Per the link above:

https://www.wirelesspowerconsortium.com/products

If i search for my devices https://www.wirelesspowerconsortium.com/products/10729 is missing the "Samsung Proprietary Extension" which can be seen for example on this Samsung charger: https://www.wirelesspowerconsortium.com/products/11324

There maybe some third party chargers which have "Samsung Proprietary Extension" But I suggest you check

Error on the phone is : this fast wireless charger isn't compatible with your phone

We're 100% getting the Snapdragon variant. No exynos this time around.

Also the ultra preorder is very tempting.

I haven't recieved mine yet, and there was a chart showing which regions were getting Snapdragon, NZ was shown as getting Snapdragon this year so hopefully that holds true.

Pricing seems fair on a base model S22 this year at just $1299, but the deals so far aren't as good as previous years.

Samsung NZ website offering $300 evoucher, JBHifi offering $100 JBHifi voucher. Sadly no freebies like Buds or anything this year though. Fingers crossed HN, NL, or PBtech have some better deals.

The base S22 for $1099 after the $200 voucher sounds good, same price as the S21 FE that just came out.
