ermat: Not exactly on topic but no doubt someone here will know know whats going on with my Mi box setup.
It acknowledges my wifi connection but will not accept my modem password.
Strange thing is my phone connects no problem, on the other hand wifes phone had the same issue with punching in the wifi password. Only when I applied the password to her phone via her scan code thingy could i connect her phone to modem.
Any thoughts ?

Mine wont connect with WPA3 on that SSID enabled. Same for my older xiaomi phone. Has to be WPA2 only for them to be happy to connect.

what version of Mi Box do you have? Mi Box 3 or Mi Box S (4)?

Mi Box S is on Android TV 9 and is very stable - and works really well (including latest version of Kodi from the Play Store)
I'm not sure what the Mi Box 3 is on.
