Also note that the Watch 4 charger is a wireless 'puck' that will not work with most low power USB chargers.

 

Mine is connected to a multi USB charger and uses the Quickcharger USB socket.  Does not with the other two USB sockets

Thanks, the replies to date have made me take another look at this type of watch and whether I want something else with a better battery life.

Essentially I just want a watch, with some notification options (I had this with Fitbit, for text messages, before the Fitbit died), an alarm, and workout/walking tracking, and waterproof, with a decent battery life. 

 

Now looking at Garmin watches.

Anyway - I have my answer re parallel imports and know what to watch out for. Thanks!
