julius: (There's a discussion topic on the Facebook group so as not to pollute geekzone's fora - http://bit.ly/aR9f7y)

The issue of an Android "group" came up months ago and Mauricio made it clear he had no issues with there being a group thread the in the Android forum - if we wanted to maintain that as another valid option...mainly to include people not on Facebook. I have Facebook, but don't use it much.

Trusted users are now able to update original posts, so that could be a way to keep current information up front and visible.

Sounds like it went well. A pity I wasn't able to come to the meeting.

I'll keep an eye out for the next one.

Last night was great. Thanks for organizing it Julius. I enjoyed both presentations given by yourself and Simon. As to frequency of the meets, I would prefer a monthly meet initially and see how it goes. However, if it was decided to meet fortnightly then I would definitely be there.

Hi,

I'm thinking about Wednesday rather than Thursday next time. How does that suit? I've put the question on Facebook group too to vote.

Cheers,
Julius.

Hi all,

Next meeting 7th October from 6pm. We'll just talk and have question time from 6 - 7 and then have a couple of 20 - 30 min presentations.

We've merged with Androids in Auckland and are using meetup.com to manage numbers:

Just a reminder that it's on again this Thursday.

If you'd like to come please RSVP on the meetup site so we have an idea of numbers: http://meetup.com/Androids-In-Auckland/calendar/14862229/

Looking forward to seeing everyone and having another great evening!

Is this still a possibility?  I can do this Thursday and have already registered but cannot do Thursdays during term time.  Or now the groups are joined is it not changable?

Hi,

I think the plan is to have a show of hands on Thursday for other days - probably Monday, Tuesday or Thursday.

Cheers,
Julius.

Yeah I have soccer Wednesdays this summer and might also be busy Mondays. Might be easier just having two options for a vote?

We could do a poll on our fancy new meetup.com site too!
