I wonder who cares? You're on this website which suggests a certain tech expertise so flashing an unofficial update shouldn't faze you. The SGS is the best selling Android phone for a reason - it is a darned nice smartphone experience, made better by the unofficial updates that are regularly being uploaded.

Having said that, I'd really like to move on to GB (and when it's out there via XDA, I will flash it for the coolosity that accompanies that release). Meantime, my SGS is the biz. Really.

Galaxy S has gone to its new owner. HTC Sensation has gone to its new
owner. Galaxy S3 has gone to its new owner. Now using Galaxy Note 3. Skipping Note 4 I think...

I think you'll enjoy the SNS very much. Don't know which games are specifically supported, but search on the googlemeister and your questions will be answered. I played with the SNS in the US recently and it's a stellar piece of kit. Pity it doesn't have an external SD card or I'd own one myself.

Good choice.

I would go nexus, I have a nexus 1 (like it better than the nexus S once i put CM7 onto the N1) but if i had to pick today on a new phone and could not get a nexus 1 i would get the nexus S.

Remember if you dont like how it looks then get a new launcher from the market :) at the moment i have launcher pro and also playing with a WP7 launcher as well :)

The only downsides to the Nexus S over the Galaxy S are the lack of 720p video recording and external micro sd slot
