Your best bet if probably to send it away as a repair to have the proper firmware and baseband config loaded on it.

Settings > About > what does your baseband version state?

Dial *#*#0011#*#* to see what frequency band your phone is connected to, check if it connects to any 850 band sites?

You could also check this link to check 850 band is enabled, also did you do a factory data reset after flashing the uploaded firmware?

Short of these options, as mentioned getting it sent in to Telegistics.

Baseband: I9000TDOJV4

WCDMA im presuming? is WCDMA 2100 Band 1

And i have done that link too :(

PS just did the factory reset too so if thats all correct ill retest it this weekend again.
