freitasm: But YouTube doesn't host hardcore porn, so it suggests hijacked DNS...
eXDee: I have a feeling this might be the youtube bug. Doesn't fall in line with the type of content thats come up though.
Unexplicably, many people will go to a youtube video, and the video feed is something entirely different. This happens to me every so often. Examples from a quick google search:

I agree - this is almost certainly the culprit (and there are plenty of videos on youtube that fall close to, or breach the NSFW barrier).
The android youtube application will inexplicably play the wrong video - the description/comments/etc are correct, but the video that plays is incorrect. Toggling from HD to SD will play the correct video (and toggling back to HD will play the correct video in HD). Often the same 'wrong' video will play for any video selected (at the present time for me, it is Antony Worral Thompson cooking scrambled eggs... and now it is Spongebob).
It doesn't happen when I am signed out of the youtube application, nor does it seem to happen when I am on a 3G connection. It also doesn't happen from the youtube website via the browser. It is easily reproducible on my Samsung SGS2 and ASUS Transformer which share the same account.
I've been unable to track down the cause - I wonder if it has something to do with ISP caching (I'm with slingshot) or DNS/port settings, or has something to do with the google account - pain in the arse, really.
freitasm: I think there's a free version of Symantec Mobile Security in the market.

KevinL: I'm assuming it has something to do with the authentication/handshake between the Android Youtube Application and their servers.
The same 'wrong' video is displayed for me no matter what link I click on - the problem goes away if I disconnect from wifi and connect via 3g - then a different 'wrong' video springs up when I connect via wifi again. It doesn't seem to be a port issue as it occurs when I set my device as the DMZ host in my router settings. The only other thing that springs to mind is maybe it is an ISP caching issue? I've tried and failed to find the solution - perhaps smarter minds will prevail.
I'm in the process of uploading a brief video to youtube (I know) demonstrating the bug - will add to this message when it is done.
