I see DSE are clearing at $199

I have been very happy with mine.
No warranty from DSE though
All comments are my own opinion, and not that of my employer unless explicitly stated.
Vodafone will sort the warranty issues directly if DSE is no longer available to help. Buy with confidence.

Yes good news on the warranty. Rang Vodafone store at North West Mall yesterday and they confirmed product bought from a retailer that then disappears (Dick Smith) is covered by Vodafone. So having taken months to decide I plumped for the Smart Ultra over the Samsung Note 4. Very pleased with the decision as the Ultra seems a great phone and a bargain at $199 from Dick Smith. Thank you to the staff at Dick Smith Westgate and sorry your loosing your jobs. Very sad for them.

kerryland: Sadly my suspicion about built quality seems to be being proven right. The touch screen on mine is slowly deteriorating. It does not detect touches on the edge very well, and has recently had spates of detecting phantom taps! (very annoying)
Here's me trying to draw around the edges of the screen.
Such a shame for such a great phone. Have to hunt for my receipt now and get it repaired or replaced under warranty.
My sisters Smart Ultra has developed a whole bunch dots around the border of the screen. See image.

langers1972: My friend's one did exactly that, had to replace it in the end
How long did the warranty process take?
