SumnerBoy: My camera was crashing quite a bit until i turned off the smart stay feature, which is the thing that tracks your eyes and keeps you're screen on if you are looking at it i think.
After disabling that my camera has been fine.

I have 'Smart Stay' turned on and haven't had any problems at all with the camera app. Still getting used to how it works, but the camera app loads instantly and is ready to take a picture immediately, so I'm very happy with it. Low-light picture quality is very good too, compared to the Lumia phone I used to have.
You probably know this already, but just in case you don't - double press of the home key instantly launches the camera, even from lock screen. Works so well I have removed my camera icons from lock and home screen as don't need them.

Yep, that's what I've been using, along with the Volume Keys as the shutter release. Coming from a Windows Phone I'm used to having a hardware shutter button and I also believe it reduces the amount of camera shake as opposed to tapping the screen.
Something I didn't know, thanks
Managed just over 7 hours of screen on time the other day. Just under 16 and a half hours since it was on charge. 6% left.
Email and browsing, a fair bit of working with Tasker and a bit of music (Google Play Music) etc. Happy enough with that!
Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Ok, so the one thing I don't like about the S7 is the physical home button. My last phone was a Sony Z2 which had no physical buttons on front. After a month or two of using the sammy physical home button, it's just slower and somewhat of a nuisance compared to the experience of an on-screen home option. My only gripe though.
I really hate to say it but I like the edge, I have hated samsung for years (last samsung phone was a s3). But god have they done well with the s7 edge, battery life last all day, fast wireless charging is great, the screen is one of the best I have seen and as long as they keep up with the monthly security updates etc then I will be happy.
Still not a fan of their touchwiz but have replaced that with nova. It also make the gear s2 work a lot better than a non samsung android.

Only think i miss from my z5 compact is the answerphone they had in the rom, I loved the answerphone option on the sony Z range.
Has anyone had trouble with wireless charging on their S7? Got one recently, and the wireless charging has been very hit and miss (mostly miss). Have tried two charging pads. One wouldn't charge the phone at all. The other charged it to 100% once, but since then will either alternate between charging and charging paused, or say it's charging once, then say charging has paused. Both pads confirmed to work with other phones (an S6 edge and a Nexus 5).
Have tried the enabling screen saver while charging suggestion from online. Doesn't help. The option to enable/disable fast wireless charging doesn't appear in the battery settings for some reason. Have seen it mentioned online. Has anyone else experienced similar issues, or have any ideas on how to get around it?

What kind of case do you have on your phone?
I had the issue on my s7 edge, the case I had would stop the wireless charging, I ended up going and getting the samsung back case and now don't have any problems with charging at all.
I am using a samsung wireless charger as well.
