I must be one of the lucky ones? Got an email from Samsung last night to say my order had been dispatched (order placed 11th Feb). In reality, it looks like they merely just allocated a tracking number to the order - as the tracking function didn't work/had no info.

Just checked again and it was just picked up by the courier at midday today. Estimated delivery (to Chch) is listed as 25th...

Meanwhile mine still says processing for 2/3 despite being cancelled. What on earth is their website doing?

I'm very interested to see if it continues down the happy path in the online checker and if anything turns up. I'm absolutely not expecting the device as they haven't got my money for it but something is definitely up with the order status and not been cancelled correctly. My other cancelled order does say cancelled.

The Samsung online store is definitely buggy.

Have a leather case that's stuck in the shopping cart with no way to remove it.

Have sent couple of emails to the online store with no response.

I wouldn't expect one, even with an escalation to management I'm not getting responses. 2 order cancellations have happened and I haven't been emailed about either of them. Not entirely certain how they've done this as it's been cancelled and the status changed online from awaiting approval to processing 2 days after that happened. The store crashed a lot of times trying to look through the bundles that I had to use incognito mode and edge to even place an order and view my account some times.

The opposite is true, It's good for your mental health. Teaches you patience and coping skills and other things.

But it still sucks. The last time I was looking forward to a phone more was my Note 20 Ultra.

I ordered the burgundy ultra 256 from Vodafone on 12th. My Note 20 died this morning. Vodafone can’t give me any idea when they might ship my new one. Quite frustrating

In all fairness, no one knows when they would receive stock of the devices, not even the Samsung Kiosks that I've spoken to.

Yeah I get that. When I did this through Vodafone a few years ago they were able to say where you sat in a list of orders. Even that would help.

The issue is that they don't know how much stock they are getting. They might have ordered 500 and 500 could arrive, or 200, and then 200 and then 100.

If they say, you are order 201 then you could end up frustrated and annoyed that you don't get yours in the initial shipment.

It's all about managing expectations and not over promising. Better to give you a deadline of 10 days and deliver in 8 than say 8 and deliver in 10.

I really really wanted the green one but indications were that stock was limited and it may delay delivery, so I went with black. Easier to sell as well.

@lilly sorry to hear about your troubles, it's stressful without a phone or any certainty.

Do you have the option of a loan phone?

Yes I thankfully do have a phone I can use temporarily. To complicate it a bit more, I’m away for work at the moment so would get delivery to me here if I knew when it might come while I’m away.
