Since Gmail allowed the addition of exchange accounts I use nothing else. I do not have any problems with multiple accounts in one app.

When adding a contact, choose "More Fields" and then you can choose what account this contact will live under.

I tried using that, still don't have any exchange contacts in the contacts folders.

I decided to flag 6P for now.

I can't stand the idea of using camera not as good as note range. I looked at lots of photos and I personally don't think it comes close to what my Note 3 and 4 can offer.

Anyone want 128GB code? I have cancelled my Spigen order (phew!).

Cheers

You beat me to this comment. I am an active phone photographer (300-400 a week), and having had a Note 5 for a few weeks I cannot find sufficient evidence to prefer one over the other. The 6P camera is very, very good.

The only grumble I have is that the app is so basic, and all other 3rd party apps are just too unintuitive for my liking. I quite like the Samsung and HTC camera apps - it's one of the few instances I prefer bells and whistles over a stock experience. It's fine if the experience is basic, as is the case with the iPhone, but that basic experience should be comprehensive - e.g. I love the iPhone's resize when emailing function - such a simple concept executed so well. With the 6P, it's a proper nightmare to resize photos before they're emailed.

I am sure you are trying to be funny.

Dxomark never tested note5. They even put galaxy S6 better than nexus 6p. In fact, they actually put Z5 as their top mobile camera and lots of tests out there show z5 does not even compare with iphone 6s/note 5.

Android authority comparison shows clear winner with Note 5. http://www.androidauthority.com/nexus-6p-vs-samsung-galaxy-note-5-655708/

(without OIS nexus 6p can never be as good as galaxy range camera with OIS!)

Those who sang praises on nexus 6p actually compare the camera with the previous nexus devices. A big jump for camera quality in comparison to prior nexus(es) family. Just look at these two comparison for low light:

Nexus 6p:

Note 5:

Most reviews of these phones are making judgement calls at the margin between these phones in picking the better camera. So yes, if you're absolutely keen for those two extra technical points to make your still photos marginally better, the S6, Z5 or the Note 5 may indeed be the better phones for you. But the Z5 camera is getting *hammered* in user forums from what I've seen.

Also note that the 6P's DXO score is very marginally below the S6 and Z5 in the still photo sub-scores. Video is where it seems to face most issues. Agree that the absence of OIS is annoying, but I think that's more a video than a still photography issue for me.

FWIW, I still haven't been in a situation with my 6P, across all light situations, where I felt I was disadvantaged in not having the right phone-camera for still photos. If I ever do face that situation, I can easily switch to shooting a RAW photo and then making minor adjustments later if I need to. Nothing that justifies paying a pretty large premium for a device where I'm held hostage to a non-stock, and excessively carrier-dependent, software experience.

And I'm sure you're trying to be serious tongue-out  yes, Dxomark haven't tested the Note 5, but you mentioned the Note 3 and 4...

As for that photo comparison....hmmmm....lets have a look at both cameras at the same zoom.

Yeap, each to their liking. I OTOH prefer the features-packed phone out of the box rather than needing to tinker with vanilla android (my time is valuable). It makes sense if you have already setup your earlier nexus to your liking. I am so used to Samsung phone and I am not overly disadvantaged with delayed updates. Occasionally the updates break the apps because developer don't have time to fix it.

Anyhow, I am not trying to convince anyone here. I have been holding for nexus 6p for sometime. I ordered multiple cases as soon as the 128gb version become available but this phone is not for me.

Note 5 is cheaper than nexus 6P at the moment and I am going for that despite the limited storage. I will have to utilize my dropbox.

Yep - and I reiterate my comment above.  Same zoom/distance from the android would give a more accurate comparison.

There are so many options available to us all now and everybody has their own personal preferences.  Your reasons for not enjoying the 6p as much as a feature laden Samsung phone are mine and probably a lot of users here reason for loving the 6p and all it's vanilla android glory.  That's the beauty of android - it gives us all choice to pick from smile
