This is the worst phase of any new phone thread, the one where people breathlessly and guess and hope in excruciating detail about delivery of their new devices.

I understand it, but perhaps we could keep it to a minimum? :)

Yes, it greatly disappoints us people who live vicariously through others new, shiny purchases when we check the thread updates to hopefully see said purchases, but are greeted with pages of pining.

...

...

...

Oh look, now I have gone and done it too.

Is anyone specifically buying 45w chargers, even though you may have a 35w or 25w?

I don't have either of these, I think my one is a 15W (Galaxy A32 Charger).

45W is out of stock on site and thinking I should just get a 25w or 35w

At this point, 45w makes no material difference to the charging time, so I would just stick with 25w. Even on my S20+, it's still pretty good.

I have After market USB C multi port Chargers and almost never charge wirelessly as it's too slow.

I have the 108w version of that in 3 rooms in the house. Covers laptops, tablets, phones, and everything else at the max rate.

Some of the best money I've spent.

Thanks for that link, exactly what I needed. I just called NLG, they do not stock any more 'multi port' chargers like that, all of their existing chargers are dual port ones. Not sure why they stopped doing the multi port ones because they are so handy!

Could be worth checking other stores like PB Tech? I bought this one from them: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/TAAVER4469325/Verbatim-75W-Hub-Charger-4-Ports-PD--QC30---Charge

They may have other suitable models at https://www.pbtech.co.nz/category/computers/charging-stations/portable-charging-stations

Techradar raved about the 45w charger, they neglected to compare it to the 25w charger though.

Most sites that have tried it said you only gain less than 5 minutes on a full charge. It sounds like a rip off spending double the money for about 2 minutes each charge.

I've been charging my Flagship phones with these type of chargers since they became available. Never had an issue. Don't expect to do so.

Obviously you need to exercise some care in picking a brand, but if the major retailers are carrying it....

Is anyone having an issue where you aren't receive any order confirmation or update emails from the Samsung store? Namely the education store?

Has your status on the EPP portal changed from 'Processing'?

What emails are you expecting to receive if it hasn't changed status?

I ordered through EPP store, received the order confirmation immediately, but nothing since. My status hasn't changed online so I'm not expecting any other comms unless a change of status or tracking number allocated.

My shipping date is also 24th for this one, yet no update. Cancel button still active on my order as well.

Mine has been stuck at "dispatched" since yesterday. I opted for click and collect at the Sylvia Park Samsung Kiosk though. It says on order lookup that it should arrive 24/02/2022 but I called the kiosk at noon and they said they haven't received anything.
