kiwitrc: Here is the S3 user manual

Yeah, pretty unenlightening, I read all of it last night. A few errors in it too.

I don't either, but you know, what if there was something interesting to write about there?

Most interesting thing I saw was one of the unlock modes uses face unlock and also requires a word/phrase in your voice, making it quite a bit more secure than plain old face unlock which is easily defeated.

Can someone clarify the Micro SIM situation?  Is this smaller than the SIM used in the SGSII, or is it the same?

S2 used a regular SIM, S3 uses a micro SIM (it is smaller).

Note that you can use a sim cutter to turn your regular SIM into a micro SIM, something I had to do recently to use the Motorola RAZR

Do Vodafone offer this as a service if you go into on of their stores?  Or do they give you a new SIM?

I have no idea how Vodafone will deal with this, I imagine they will give you a new sim that fits if you are buying on contract. Otherwise they might let you cut your sim to size in store (at your own risk)

So guess that is at least the non discounted rate will be matched to 2degrees pricing. Hopefully this means we get some more details of other deals soon
