Kopkiwi: if these specs hold true and the battery life proves a winner (along with the 18mp camera) I would purchase this over the Note 4 for what will hopefully be a superior build quality.

I am hearing reports of some early Note 4 owners in South Korea are complaining of the build quality where there is noticeable gaps between the screen and the metal frame, some are so wide you can stick 2 sheets of paper in it.

networkn: Anyone know how I can restore the factory lock screen? Google did a sync and installed a third party lock screen and now after I removed it I have something different to what was there when I got the device?

I think HTC's lock screen updates through the play store,

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.htc.lockscreen&hl=en

You should be able to uninstall updates?

I should really be able to work this out but I am tired and grumpy so hoping someone has a bright idea..

I have a ringtone and a sms notification noise I want to use on my m8, but I can't see any way to get them from dropbox to be usable as a ringtone and sms notification.

Anyone know a nice easy way ?

NM used Airdroid, clicked RingTones, upload and dragged from dropbox. Android could make this easier and more intuitive I have to say!

Is anyone here on a rooted M8 and got the exposed module working for them?

So no new HTC One Eye announced today. Just the Desire Eye. 13MP front and back shooter. I guess that will have to wait for the M9. But they at least announced that all the applicable software goodies to go with the Eye will be retro-ed to the One.

Bit of an epic fail this event.

Kopkiwi: Bit of an epic fail this event.

The devices announced are worthy but pre event leaks took most of the thunder. It was bad enough when Samsung tried to emulate an Apple launch a couple of years ago, but this one was almost embarrassing. Whether it was the forced applause or clearly visible empty seats, there was an uncomfortable feel about the event. Forget the models, concentrate on the products/apps.
Hopefully the M9/watch launch will be better. Re looks good but I doubt it will reach here.

Re looks pretty awesome. Price will be the killer here though.

I was having issues with xposed & found that you have to install via recovery to get it to work properly.
