Heathsplosion: As my Nexus 6 was my first Android phone, and now my 6P... should arrive shortly... How do I migrate all my settings, apps, data, etc to the new phone?
pbgben: I have my tracking email too, I ordered midday Friday. My initials are BC, so I wonder if its alphabetically sent?
robfish: I believe the technology is called NFC - Near Field communication.
My upgrade from Nexus 5 to Nexus 6 required me to tap one against the other and within maybe a couple of minutes my new device was set up the same as the old one.
I hope to do the same with my 6P

Kiwibloke007: I will have to revert all app based authenticators back to email/text, and reset up work email and access tokens.

mecow: I ordered at 9am on Friday morning and just got the tracking email. So don't think it is to do with order time?
It's a pretty cool set up process, very easy - note that (to my knowledge) this won't copy over data such as photos and music.
Interestingly, the 2degrees email has a link to the Apple warranty site. Maybe recycled from the iPhone order and someone forgot to change the link? :P
toxicbubble: Got my email confirming track and trace number as well! Although the Courier Post site says number not found, I've found this to be the case with past orders also. Usually the delivery arrives before they update the site :) Interestingly, the 2degrees email has a link to the Apple warranty site.
