If it's an S7 or S7 edge purchased from PB, it's 100% local stock from VFNZ. *#1234# will confirm version/CSC. Samsung sometimes rolls updates in waves.

Took my Note 7 back over the weekend with the recall and grabbed the S7E. Feels like a massive step backwards. Note 7 was such an awesome phone the S7E seems almost cheap in comparison.

Completely unrelated, have Samsung given an indication as to when,  if ever, we will get access to paid themes?

I've got a S7E. What makes you say it's significantly worse than the Note?

For starters the Edge 7 does not explode, so there is that.

Screen seems more responsive, UI was far far better. Battery life was better

And now I can't charge using a cable because I keep getting told there is moisture in the USB port. It went in the shower at 8pm last night, it should have dried in 12 hours, not to mention I gave it a bit of a dry out with a hair dryer but it just refuses to dry at all.

No I am not but considered other people's. I expect no further discussion into this.

You took your phone into the shower? I know they're waterproof certified - but hmmm. And dried it with a hairdryer? More hmmm.

Yes I did, as there is nothing wrong with doing that.

Used warm air as recommended from a distance that would not overheat, the phone didn't get hot.

Nothing wrong with that - unless phone reports moisture in USB port and refuses to dry out and now you can't charge it with a cable?

So what you're saying is a water resistant phone should not go in the shower? Despite them advertising the fkcing thing in the shower? Yeah makes sense.

Even though the iPhone 7 has IP67 water resistance certification, the Apple warranty does not cover ingress of water. Samsung S7, S7E and Note 7 have IP68 but I'm not sure whether Samsung cover water ingress.

Eh, just block me altogether. Save both of us the hassle.
