Malingo:
Steve113: Hi,
Im looking at S3 LTE version "GT-I9305" which is quad core and comes with 2GB of RAM.
Apparently it has been released in Australia and Korea.
I guess the question one asks here is (and this might be early to tell) which of the 4g spectrum's will be used in NZ?

Does anybody know of any 4G phones being sold by Telecom/Vodafone so we know which 4G band to opt for?

Where is this being released?  I haven't seen this announced yet anywhere?

Hi Malingo,

Sorry for the late reply i just noticed. This was available on pre-order. Now this is being sold all over OZ. you can buy it outright from mobicity.co.nz but only in two colours now.

I'm just waiting for the Titanium Grey to come out, soon all the PI stores will have it too.

Flashed Jelly Bean official on my SG3 tonight.. was simple and easy. Definitely is the factory Samsung firmware - almost the same as ICS, just a few different things

Send a pxt first. then the network will know your handset can receive them, and you'll get a normal pxt, rather than a txt with a link.

edit: vvvvvv Oh, good point JohnR. Yeah, do that.

Turn mobile data on or check MMS settings! Not related to sending a PXT (MMS) first

1. Check if you have MMS setting correctly and Mobile data is on.
2. Send a Picture Message out to yourself or someone else and make sure it is sent.
3. Take battery out while the phone is on.
4. Put the battery back in and boot the phone up. Now try sending another PXT to yourself.

Done!

I've had this recently as well, it seems to have the attachments as a slideshow, open the message and press the right arrow button to advance to the next slide.

I thought it was my wifes iOS6 sending them differently but maybe it's JB :)

I'm not a complete idiot, I still have some parts missing.

Save yourself some money and use Viber or Whatsapp for pics. Or email.

Lol. Thanks Kiwitrc. Take the battery out will clear the state of the phone software/hardware and reset MMS state. Usually a restart would do but a complete shutdown is always better. Thought I can't be right because mr.JohnR is a System Engineer at Vodafone, no one else has better knowledge with the mobile phones industry than him on this planet. :)
