EvilMonkey: I've used wanamlite before.was not bad but still had some bloat. Debloating myself takes too long and I have messed it up a few times :]. Was mostly looking for som e personal opinions as I have browsed CDA and the exact info on different ROMs seems sparing. Might try neatrom. This cyanogen seems to rape my battery.

I am running Thebyani Stock XXLSD on PhiZ latest kernal and this flies along nicely for me on my SII. No really issues for me on it. It has Samsung apps on it but not many.

HardcorePawn, Willywonkar and Shoes2468, have any of you found JJLS2 to be better than DOLP4 for the "T" model? I have tried DOLPV4 and found it much better than the modem that came with the Spain Jellybean release, got much better reception with DOLP4 and MUCH better battery life. The battery was lasting about 8 hours on the XXLS8 modem.

TBH,  I haven't noticed much of a difference between the two...  They both seem to give me decent battery, reception and data...

I live in a somewhat marginal 3G reception area (My theory is that is related to the proximity to Auckland Airport) and they seem to work about the same...

When I head into the city centre (or other suburbs) the reception and data connection seems to be fine...

As for battery life, I don't really have an issue with either... I was considering flashing DOLP4 back on to see if I could notice any difference... so I think I'll do that today... will let you know how I get on :)

I received my GSIII back last night from the repairer and the repair said they changed the mother board over and after setting it up again it looks to be working perfectly again.

Must of done some proper testing this time as it was away for just under 2 weeks instead of the 1 week last time.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

I have not tried the JJLS2 but have tried the  PBVLP7, which was much the same as the XXLS8, I had the same results as you, flashed the Dolp4 and the difference was like night and day. Dolp4 is the best I have tried by far

@HardCorePawn was wondering how you got on with your modem test?

Also thought I'd give Slimbean a try Make a change from the non ASOP I usually install. And wondered which modem you found best with your rom?

I am still running mine on the JJLS2 which seems to be okay but I will switch to the DOLP4 in a few days just to make a comparison... definitely better than the XXLS8 that I originally had. Battery life is okay..but not great.

ok so I have just swapped from the Telecom network to Vodafone (through black and white) and have flashed the vodafone build onto my phone (it's a parallel imported one that I have had for ages now) but my reception is now not the best. Just after the best modem for Vodafone in Wellington? and if possible a link to download it.

current build = Stock 4.0.3
baseband version i9100xxlpx
Kernel Version 3.0.15-i9100XWLPI-CL686447
DPI@DELL141 #3
BUILD NUMBER = IML74K.XWLPI

Thanks
