Yup. Using 2 Degrees Sim though.

285MB download. So far seeing a few font and icon changes that's about it.

The tips are somewhat annoying but I'll leave them on for a while, see if I learn anything new/useful.

Your update has NOTHING to do with which carriers SIM is in your phone.

Wade: On a side note the smart platinum is on special at the moment for $399... Very tempting
I grabbed one of these. It is made by TCL and is based on the TCL 950, as a side note the blackberry DTEK60 and Alcatel iDol 4S are also both made by TCL and are also based on the TCL 950. Screen is fantastic, very sharp, and blacks are true black, as you'd expect from a 2k AMOLED display. Dual front speakers sound great and can get very loud. build quality is nice with 2.5D Gorilla glass front and back and metal frame. Performance from the Snapdragon 652 is good - Antutu scored 84,000 points, a lot slower than my Snapdragon 820 phone which scored 144,000, but is on par with my Snapdragon 810 Xperia Z5 which scored 83,000. With the display and speakers it makes it great for media consumption. It also came with a Quick Charger in the box (2A, 9v).

Hi all,

My SU6 has a line through the screen and I purchased it in August 2015 so technically still under manufacturer's warranty. Unfortunately I bought it from Noel Leeming and I believe they only cover it for 12 months. Any ideas on what I can do?

It's 24 months like all Vodafone devices. Noels can talk to Voda to confirm if need be, they'll just be sending it back to Brightpoint anyway.

Ok I guess I will go in and argue with them haha. Wish I could just take it back to a Vodafone shop

I finally got the marshmallow update last night. No catastrophic issues so far, but they're still insisting on including outdated versions of keyboard and clock that won't update, only now you can't disable them. This means that if you install the proper clock app you get duplicate apps.

Got my update 750 odd mb.

Looks very similar, google now is now working, somehow the screen appears bigger? change of fonts maybe.  Also feels a little snappier.

Bit of an odd issue.  Have one of these to stream music to an old stereo... After the update the 3.5mm cord doesn't get detected and audio is still routed via the speaker.

Oddly, plugging in a headset seems to work. Trying a factory reset to see if it solves the issue.

I had the same issue, although I'm pretty sure it also didn't work before the update. Ended up using Bluetooth.

Sigh, what a rip...  I'm guessing a fancy mic+audio 3.5 jack will make it work again. This is very annoying.

Factory reset didn't solve the problem either.

The implication seems to be that you don't get audio through 3 segment 3.5mm plugs, but you do through 4 segment ones. In my experience, 3 segment plugs worked fine before the update and continue to work after it. It does seem to take a fraction longer for them to be detected (and the headset icon to appear in the notification bar) now.
