Was just looking at that myself.
It may well be the same as the TF101.
See this article: http://www.pclaunches.com/notebooks/asus_eee_pad_transformer_ep101_tablet_coming_this_friday.php

Looking at this page on DSE http://dicksmith.co.nz/dsnz/search/dsnz_search_results.jsp?bmForm=search&bmFormID=j7Zuc6h&bmUID=j7Zu...

it sure looks like they are now calling the TF101 the EP101

Ok - I just spent ages on the phone with Asus - for them to finally confirm to me that the EP101 is just a different (retail) name for the TF101.

I had first rung DSE who had no idea!

kind regards Andrew TD

According to the article link above, it comes with optional docking ports?

Yes - but it will just be referring to the same keyboard dock that the TF101 uses.
See the product page here: http://www.asus.com/Eee/Eee_Pad/Eee_Pad_Transformer_TF101/

I did find some other article from last year saying that the TF101 was referred to as EP101 in some markets.

I figure that NZ has just become one of those markets (at least from DSE's point of view).

kind regards Andrew TD

After using Transformer for a while I wonder if others have noticed that it seems to be orientated to run in the Horizontal mode rather than vertical. The I-Pad and Samsung seem to be designed to be used in the vertical mode.
I realise that you can turn Transformer to vertical but it feels funny sort of taller and narrower and for reading some things just awkward.
Any one else notice this?

Is it possible that it's a Parallel import product for DSE??? They seem to be doing a bit of that now.

Which specific one did you get Ron? Which brand tv/monitor are you using it with? (I wouldn't want to gamble and buy from overseas unless I'm at least 90% sure it's gonna work).
This one?

Well the eee pad finally got delivered to work today, no thanks at all to DHL and their "third party" courier service who not only delivered it to the wrong address, but proceeded to forge a delivery signature when nobody was home! Needless to say that saga is not finished yet.

Anyway, the device is fantastic and after a short play is now charging so I can do the OS update.

Mental note to self - stick with Fedex!

Sorry my mistake it was the Samsung that I got the extra cable for. The Transformer uses a special plug on the tablet end that is not available anywhere that I could find. You may have to approach ASUS. Sorry for mistake I was getting carried away

My Transformer arrived at work today. Getting the dock on Monday hopefully. So far I'm loving it.
