jeffnz: try settings menu then look at accounts section and it should have all the apps that require sync, click on one that isn't syncing and check the settings.

On the accounts, there is no twitter, does it mean no app showing on accounts, it has no push notification? How shall I set up an account? I clicked "Add account", there is no option for twitter, powershop or whatever the application I need for notification.

zpempire: I am new to Android system, previous iPhone user for years.

how can I set my push notification? Currently only Gmail, text message and calls work. The other applications does not work including facebook, whatsapp, twitter .......

I have clicked ON for notifications on every of these applications. But if the app is not active, I am not able to receive any push notification, which is really annoying.

Does anyone know about that? I am currently using Jelly Bean 4.1.1

Pull down the notification bar and see if Notification is highlighted in green (on)

I could not find Notification bar or setting.

The bar with the icons on top scroll so try dragging it across from right to left..see if you get some more icons..

 No option for notification neither.

Windows Media player, Tversity etc... search on google and you shall find hundreds of them.

Not sure about the Apple part. S3 does have DLNA so there is no need to stream to Apple TV.
