Name: Send to SD card

Price: Free

Store Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.gelin.android.sendtosd&hl=en

Description: Adds an entry to the share section, allowing you to save stuff to your sdcard

Comments: I found this a useful addition because I use Google Drive, which currently doesn't allow you to save a file locally.

Not sure if it has been mentioned...

MightyText

Install app. Install Chrome/firefox/IE desktop app and text from your browser.

Useful if you leave your phone at work - you can still receive/send texts OR if you really can't be bothered getting up to read the text if your phone is WAY over there on coffee table.

Songkick

Goes through your music and then lets you know if bands in your selection are touring in your area. You can select multiple places like Wellington and Auckland. Works really well and also lists bands in your area that may not be in your music list.

Basic, what I could call a 'mans' health app.  Tracks weight, shows trends, allows you to set goal targets and calculates change required to get there etc.

No food or exercise components, just simple get up in the morning, weigh yourself and enter it.  Allows for sharing of graphs etc, quick and easy interface.  Free too, and $2 to disable ads, though they honestly don't appear on the screen resolution of my LG P500.
