Yeah, I held out without rooting mine this long, I can wait I little longer. Does anyone know what the version is we get in retail chains here? I occasionally see some Vodafone branding in Google play, I assume it's Vodafone aus or nz but someone suggested it could be a UK model, mines a P7500, from what I read only 7510 is updating so far.

Mine is the GT-P7500 wifi + 3G. I can wait a little longer I suppose as well

So unitedtitan, what's the upgrade like????? Worth the effort? Still waiting for the P7500 upgrade myself and while it is out for some other countries, NZ is not on the list. I had a bad experience putting the polish version of ICS on my GS2 so am a bit leery about non-NZ versions of it.

I'm running JB on mine (CM10) and I must say it's pretty sweet so far! Only minor bugs, and the front facing camera doesn't work. But that's about it!

Hi, I have only had time to just have a quick play with basic functions i.e. internet surfing, playstore etc... as I have just had a baby son ;) but from what I have seen so far, it is must quicker & seems more responsive. No issues so far using the official UK firmware version. Have also seen reports that people in the US / others are also upgrading to the UK version instead of waiting for a release for there country as there is no known difference between regional releases.

That being said, some people & I have reported issues signing into Samsung Apps from the outside of the UK, but I don't use it so I am not bothered.

I have ICS on my 7.7 and it's so much better, I am frustrated waiting for my 8.9 to get it!

I know it's out for the 7.7 in Europe so I'm supposing yours is 'european'? or have they begun rolling it into other areas. (haven't seen it on my 7.7 yet)
